THE SAPPHIRE’S FUND

Sapphire’s Fund is a “special fund” for dogs, cats and other animals that have fallen into a bad situation; abuse, mistreatment, neglect or house fire.  The animal may need some kind of medical care to overcome a physical and or psychological disability that has been inflicted upon them, and or a life-saving situation, and NOT by their choice.

Sapphire was a fawn color pug, that had fallen into a bad situation and was an “abused/mistreated” victim.  She was physically stuffed in a suit case/luggage and was suffocating, but was found in the nick of time.  Sapphire was rescued and Massachusetts Humane Society took care of her medical needs and lots of TLC.  I as President of MHS fostered her and adopted her.  Sapphire was the sweetest, kindest, most lovable dog ever and she was so precious and always will be.  Sapphire was so much part of MHS, throughout her life, she went everywhere with me and she loved to go to the MHS animal shelter and see her dog friends and the cats and volunteers. Sapphire was 14 years of age when she passed, she became very sick and had urological problems that could not be medically cured.  Sapphire is GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
